Why are Bay Area residents choosing Fremont as their home base? Because our city offers an ideal blend of urban-suburban living, and our convenient location provides easy access to the entire Bay Area. Whether you’re commuting daily or venturing out for occasional meetings, there are plenty of ways to get from Fremont to the rest of the Bay Area.

The two most efficient ways to commute from Fremont to other points in the Bay Area are by BART and by car. The Asher is an easy 10-minute walk from the Fremont BART station, where you have access to the green and orange lines. If you’re traveling by car, I-680 and I-880 will get you to most Bay Area destinations. Keep in mind that if you’re able to carpool, or if you drive a qualifying clean-air vehicle (CAV), you’ll have access to express lanes on all Bay Area bridges and on many Bay Area corridors, and you’ll be eligible for reduced toll rates.
